How to improve LMT.

As im sure almost all of you know, LMT seems to have lost its way. Some of our greatest members have left, and im sure, many more are going to leave if something doesnt get done.
I feel that most members have left because of the FIGHTING and NOT the fact that PIRACY is gone off of the site.

Here are just some of the thing that we need to do to improve and hopefully, bring back, LMT.


1. Stop Fighting
This is quite simple. Just don't start fights! If there is a thread that makes you mad, or that you think is pointless, then just simply, dont post in it. Posting in it will keep it up on the first page sooner.

2. Get Mods
For the people that are going to pick fights for no reason, we need mods. We need people with the "power" to do something. We dont need many, maybe just 4 of them. (Lets not turn this thread into a "why i should be a mod thread")

3. Use the word "n00b" a little less
The new people are what keep this site going. By calling them a n00b because they only have 10 posts, they feel the need to leave this site, and not to come back. Obviously, we dont need fewer members, we need more.

4. Get rid of piracy, and tune it out of our vocabulary
This is the most contreversial thing of all here on LMT. Its quite sad. Companies spend thousands of dollars to create new tricks, and then we post them here. Its crazy, its illegal, and needs to be gone. Ever since moderators have been gone, people want it back. Some of you guys say "we are kids and cant get credit cards", so what! Big deal. If you want a car really bad, but you arent old enough to drive, and dont have enough money to buy it, do you go out and steal it? NO! You wait until you are old enough and have enough money, and by then, they will have NEWER, more awesome models that you will like better. We dont even need to speak of piracy on our board, ITS JUST THAT BAD. (lets not turn this into a "why i like piracy thread")




Guys, LMT has been very succesful, but if we dont stop, too many members are going to leave, and LMT will be done. Lets try to get along, and use this place for what it is meant for, a simple magic discussion board!

I would like that as well and I think the same way. We cannot organize this site ourselves. We need DJC to start assigning mods immediately. We cannot just keep arguing in threads on who should be a mod, but instead, we need to inform him first. We have to make SURE he knows.

To improve, we need to tell the admin what we want and need. We have discussed and discussed already, but we are going no where. Someone needs to tell us the final decisions. The final mods and the final decision of piracy or no piracy. We need DJC to tell us the rules and limitations here. We need to make sure that everyone knows what really is going to happen.

I agree with you fully. Dave needs to do something, im sure tons of people have emailed him already.

I dont want to make accusations, but i think Dave is going to let piracy come back (by doing nothing), so he can get more members, Then he will make mods.

If this is what is going to happen, WE need to stand up and say "NO". We need to keep it off of this site, by not posting it!

By this I mean like fallen, we figured that out easily, and it wasnt piracy telling how to do the trick or make a tut to explain it, piracy is if we had the actual vid and just gave it out to anyone, besides, I say if you can figure a trick out, more power to you, since you now know how to do it, you can do what you please with it. You could go and reveal it, or you can keep it to yourself.

Lucas... The law is only there to be broken. Don't get me wrong i don't support piracy, but that doesn't mean i haven't pirated anything before even when i did most of the time i didn't even know it was illegal.
