you dont start learning a new trick for a show 4 days away...if you want it to be good then do something that you already do well. you dont have time to get new material up to speed.

actuallty i can get a trick down in easily a few hours so i would suggest getting a raven X2 to switch like a shim rock with a small present

you cant get ANY of the material i do down...and performance ready, in a few hours....

well i currently am doing street magic so its not that the tricks i do are lame but i dont do a lot of very large tricks that require props i cant take with me

good close-up magic still requires alot of practice... you may be ready to show somthing to a good buddy in a few hours... but a public performance requires a lot more than that.

not for me i recently did some gaff tricks a few hours after i got the deck and army of 52 for complete strangers at walmart

that is elusionist...little kid crap.

most of that stuff is just a bunch of color changes... switching one card for another... and most of it requires little or no presentation....

you're just doing tricks...i'm talking about magic.

actually that si good magic just because it came from ellusionist doesnt meen anything its still difficult to pull off those tricks to complete strangers and i did do it well it was actually very good i mean i can say that all gaff deck tricks are good but a lot are like colt 45 pip switch or pip matrix or stranger card are pro quality tricks and they were perfprmed well i do work on my magic i just maye dont have to work on it as much as u do

it may be good magic to a 13 year old kid, but after you have been doing magic 30 years like i have....well, its not much.

as for pip matrix....its based on a trick that came out 20 years ago called holey terror, where a spectator signed a card then 4 holes were punched...then the holes moved. and the spectator goes home with the signed card.

pip matrix= easy beginner magic, minimal sleight of hand

holey terror= by professionals...for professionals, heavy sleight of hand

i been doing holey terror for many years. and i still run into people who say "i have my card at home" you can't get that with gaff deck

you practice less because the magic you do is so much easier than the magic i do...either that, or being good is just more inportant to me than it is to you.

rite. i have evry vid from e minus the Tattoo thing. and wut i think is funni is that he says in the factory sealed vid that he actualy preforms this trick in his show/act.
i found a vid on line sumtime after watching the dvd and it was an out take from the putting together of the shots for the final factory sealed dvd. he said this the trick was a joke.
and its true the idea of the refraction princapel has been around for a lo0ong time.

dude i have holey terror but i dont have more and more money to keep buying cards because i actually am 13 and i cant get a job until next year so i prefer moving pips so i can do it over and over again it may not be as memorable but i do some jobs and that is one of the few times i get money but i dont usually ask for pay so actually i am a good magician i just catch on to card tricks really well adn the best way i have found to improve for me is to get the trick down(which only takes a few hours) then the persormances with real people make it better because u know what people are likely to do and how they will reaact or what u need to work on and that is how u truly get better

It sounds interesting, but, really, can't it just be done the same way as pip matrix? Cept with four different cards with mis-matched diamonds, it's done w/ four cards with different hole placements?

that part is almost exactly the same, but you are droping 2 cards each time and not just one...

in the begining a card is selected and signed... then holes are punched in the corners...then holes move (similar to pip matrix) then the signed card is given away with the holes in the new location. left in its altered state.
