Twisted beer bottle

HAs anyone done the effect tiwster by peter ? it is where you have someone hold the end of a beer bottle while you try and turn it and when you pull your hands away the bottle is visualy twisted... I am thinking about buying is it worth it or no?

id say no. its a gimmicked bottle u have to prepare beforehand. its the same as refraction with a wineglass. it works on the refraction principle. e's factory sealed also uses this concept

Sorry to take away from the original question, but what is the concept behind Refraction?
