why hasn't water to beer been revealed?

I know it probaly uses that beer powder, but how do you get it in? special comparment in coaster? or am I over complicating it?

I heard it involved soaking the coaster in beer over night, but I doubt thats how its done. If I'm not mistaken I think they sell water to beer refills over at penguin.
