hmm this looks like a really neat effect. This trick was originally a stage effect done with a gimmicked table. The table acted like a mouse trap and broke the bottom. The mouse trap was so fast that the human eye could not catch it. This was the original method that was done on stage. This trick looks interesting though, it got me beat.

looks to me like its a gimmick table, just like the ones used to break glasses. usually a little pin in the bottom that shoots up and cracks the glass, altho this one the bottom seems to stay in tact and shatters just above it....not too sure to b honest but deffinatly a stage trick rather than a close up one so not really my cup of tea lol

i don't see how practical this is. but it probably has an instrument sending a high pitched vibration to the bottle from the end of the mic? or something like that.

ive heard about this b4 i think its a speacial bottle with a hard out side but the inside is very soft so even a needle can brake it... (personally i think exploding light bulb it more impressive anyway)
