not so easy but very deceptive, have 4 indifferent cards on top of whatever 4 cards you wish to control and put them at the top of the deck, then show the 4 of a kind you are going to control to the top, here´s the deceptive part (i believe it´s based on a false spread, wouldn´t know the name though... think of the 4 robbers card trick) you are really showing the 4 bottom cards which are the ones you will control to the top, and with the 4 indifferent card on top, you are really holding 8, square the small packet on top of your deck, as you do this drop the 4 cards that you´re gonna control on top and hold onto the 4 indiff cards, put them anywhere in the deck, square and do a pass, hold a pinky break; then cut where your pinky break is and you´ve just made a false cut and retained the 4 original and "controlled" cards on top of the deck
