russian roulette

last few days i been comin up wit ha totally new way to perform the russian roulette trick. usein playin cards and a nail.

after performing it last night i can safely say my way works perfectly.

if u already know the trick and if u already know how the trick works mine is done with 4 playin cards, a nail, and 4 paper cups

-NO pk magnets
-NO markings on the playin cards
-NO special bends in the playin cards
-No threads or wires
-NO stooges
-No marked cups

the trick -
performer shows 4 cards one has a nail in it, the specs can examine everythin cards and cups. the performer turns around and the spec mixes up the cards and places any cup on any card
performer turns around and smashes one cup.

agian the spec is asked to mix up the cups and cards while performers back is turned

again performer smashes one cup

a final time the spec mixes up the cards and cups and this time the performer takes the specs hands and samshes one cup. the nail is not touched to the releif of the spectator

everythin is then handed out for inspection with nothin to find. everythin is 100% safe. works everytime. u always know where the nail is with 100% accuracy

sorry i dont have a video but with a trick l;ike this a video cannot really convey how great the trick is as it would b very easy to fake.

all those that know me on the other hand know that i rarely lie about the tricks i do. everythin i wrote is exactly how it is performed,

i know i was tryin to actually make a gimmick for a differetn trick when i realised upon this idea......its not a gimmick as such as it can b examined it was just devolped from a gimmick.....i dont think this has been done before so it does make it unique i guess. i always hated the pk version of it cause it was so obvious either a braclet or a ring, but mine uses neither of these in fact no magnets what so ever, wich makes this a real amgician fooler. i even tried it on a magician friend of mine and after nearly 30 minutes of examining the cards he was beggin me to tell him how it was done and as soon as i pointed it out to him he was amazed at how obvious it was lol

Do you need to know which cup the nail starts at ?

no my back is turned while the specs mix the cards up and i dont turn around again untill the specs have placed any cup onto any card they like. also one thing ot note that apart from the obvious slamming of my hand onto the cups i dont touch anythin durein the trick either. i truly beleive this is one of the easiest and cleanest ways to perform this trick

after i turn around i never touch anythin durin the rest of the trick, and if i need to have the cards spread out a bit more or anythin like that i make a point that i dont want to touch then and will get the spec to move them, i may even turn around while they do it so there is no way i can see where the spike is
yet i will always know with 100% accuracy

well obviously the cups are round and the cards are rectangular so there is literally like the smallest amount of each corner showin but other than that the cups cover pretty much all of the card yes

if i can get my camera on thursday or friday i'll have a video for u all over the weekend as i haev a regualr performance every friday and saturday.

if i cant then i'll have to film it at home either way i'll have some sort of video for u by the weekend

is it possible that you put a nick on the corner of the card with the nail on it...

where you watch their face as you go over the cup
and you can tell when it is BAD

there are no markings on the cards what so ever...everythin can b fully examined....i did this trick to one guy half way thru my set at the weekend and he literally spent the rest of the night tryin to find tiny marks or littel things that were differetn about each of the cards and he couldnt find anythin. and no its not about reading people reations. like i said it works 100% of the time and readin people reactions is never that accurate, for all u know they could b a very good poker player or they may want u to stab ur self lol

is the fact that teh cards aren't totally covered important to teh secret? Could you perform this with cards that are circular that are totally covered under teh cup?
