TnR tutorial

Can someone please make a tutorial on a TnR effect where you only tear and restore
half the card.

well to restore half a card u basically need an extra piece. the half card of the selection is folded in half to make it look like just a corner of the card.

hold it with ur thumb along the bottom edge and ur middle finger along the top edge, and ur index finger should b in the fold

basically what u do is use ur index finger to open up the folded card and it looks like it is restored.

to perform u have the selected half card as described above then place the random torn piece next to it along the edge that it would join if u was really goin to repair them and act as tho u rub the seem where they join. as u do that just open the folded card up. it should swing open behind the other piece.

u can then grab hold of the side of the card with the extra piece and show they are join, then to hand it out u just palm off the extra piece.

thsi is the basic first restoration from torn so if u need a video referance of what i'm describing just look up torn

ah i see. sorry i misunderstood what u was asking

well the msot obvious way of doin it would b to use a dupe. and as u bend it in half switch it for the dupe then restore it in a similar way........not really suretho. dont think there are many tricks that implement what ur ask

i thought of one. k take a dupe, bend it so theres that crese, put take over it and use a think black marker and draw a straight black line down the crease.

now rip there card (the dupe) and say alright, time to restore it. pretend like you are but it doesnt work. try again. nothin happens. say well wen this happens, i use a bit og magic. go in ur pocket or w/e and get sum clear scotc tape, aswell as the set up card that is folded in half. *NOTE* u need to do this on a black surface**

tape the to halfs together, but not right together; leave a small gap so wen u tape it there is a space, and on the black surface will create a line. then fold it in half and go TADA! and say now this is a good suevenir. as ppl laff, switch the taped piece for your set up card. then say, but i shud take the tape off. lower hte card to the black surface, open it up (tape side up) and slowely peel the tape off and hand them there card. with a little misdirection this works great

All I can think of for what you're asking is Holy Grail. And it kinda blows, but will achieve what you are asking for.

I came up with something,
1.you fold two cards in half and crease well
2.you clip the folded dupe at the creased end between you index finger and second finger
3.you show the other card then fold it in half and as you crease it with your with your dirty hand , you put them on top of each other as one and then give them another crease
4.know you are holding the cards so that the lose leaf edges are on the bottom,ok
5.now this is the hardest part,you open both cards as one from the lose leaf edges and grip tightly on the center with your middle finger (when you fold two cards in half and put the creased ends togther the will look like one card) then give it a bend forward to give the impression that they are one
6.know you just make it look like you tear the card in two pieces
7.know you make the first restoration in torn ,then when you do the move were you steal the dupe you will have the dupe between your thumb and fingers in finger palm position
8.you show the restored card with your dirty hand ,and then you push dupe behinde the restored card with your thumb so that you hand are clean (you dont show your hands empty ,just widen the space between your fingers so that they see that your not palming anything,or just show your hands empty, do whatever you like )
9.the as you take the the restored card with your other hand,just pull the dupe piece back to finger palm and hand them the restored card .
