most people here probably live with their parents and siblings... so automatically you show them you magic creations first...
so is it okay to reveal your magic to them
tell me what you think!

Well, for as long as they'll keep the secret, I think it's OK.

"your magic creations" as in YOU created it? If you created it you can do whatever you want - it's your property.
the first rule of magic is NEVER tell how a trick is done - now, you can interpret that rule any way you want - but I interpret it as NEVER.
My Dad got me into magic, he bought me my first books and effects, and to this day, I still never tell him how it is done.
Why would you want to expose the effect? What good does it do? It only cheapens the effect for your family and friends. What is wrong with having a little mystery in your life.
If you are the kind of person who can't keep a secret, then maybe magic is not for you.

Sometimes I tell family members because they like to do tricks in the office or at work etc., but only if they wont tell anyone else.

Just one little things.
If by example my mom know a lot of magic tricks cause I told her. Then after i practice new trick in front of her and she dont see the trick that mean that i did the trick in the right way cause she's not able to find the trick even if she know a lot of sleight and gimmick.

Ah yeah, that's quite a nice way to practise. Although wouldn't it be better to simply perfrom to another magician?

wow some of you are treating magic like its life and death. if you tell your dad or mom how a cool trick is done you won't die. come on..

Besides, you don't really go and tell your family members how a trick is done outright, right? It's not like I'm gonna be teaching them how a pass works, double lift, etc...
What they know is usually a result of a flash or getting used to you. That's the whole point, isn't it? Having a possibly discriminating audience to help you with getting it right.
