Unfortunately, he made it. (LOL) Copperfield's was better in my opinion. 2 years ago I lived 30 minutes from that hotel. I wish I could have been there. It was pretty obvious how it did this effect. The only live feed was the box in the center of the screen. Not to mention, the detentation would have been by a remote, not a timer. He was chained to a center room balcony on the sixth floor. When he showed the 3rd door down the hallway, the camera only turned left. If the camera would have turned right, you would have seen the other end of the hallway with a door to a stairwell. All he did was pick out of the handcuffs, pick the 1st door, and made his way to the stairwell door. Once he made it to the bottom floor, he covered himself with powder and waited safely in the distance for the explosion. Due to the pre-recorded feeds, he was able to do this easily.

Copperfield is great! He actually has some awesome effects. Criss Angel just got some lame tricks. Some are good but not all.
