Something funky is going on with his left hand when he picks up the yellow card. Watch again, I think he is palming the card with the left and slips it in the yellow card.

The thing inside of the envelope is gimmicked with a slit in it so he can easily take the card in that slit.

Tutorial:

Have someone select a card. Let them seign it and control it to the botom. Now do a gamblers cop. Give the dekc to the spec so they can shuffle. Now take the envelope with ur right and hand as u come to grab it with ur left hand place the palmed card ont he side facing u. Take out the thing einside the envelope with the card on the back of the envelope. Then slipde it in the slit u made earlier and have the spectator take out the prediction..
