vanishing a dollar bill

i want to be able to vanish a $1 bill, for the trick cornered by joshua jay. The problem is, I don't wear a watch, don't want to use a thumb tip, and don't want to wear long sleeves in the summer. Does anyone have any advice on how I can vanish the dollar bill? Obviously, I may have to compromise and get a watch, but does anyone have any advice.

how exactly do u want to vanish the bill. by the sounds of it the only option u have left is to just palm it. one thing u can do tho is fold it up into 8ths and then fake transfer it to one hand as u go to ur pocket to grab a lighter. ditch the folded bill as u come out with the lighter and pretend to burn it up....u could even use a little piece of flash paper to make it more spectacular. then reveal its in the guys wallet

i like traums idea best, but thanks everyone. Do spectators fall for the magic wand vanish where you false transfer the bill, ditch it in the pockets as you get a sharpie, and then tap your hand supposedly holding the bill with the sharpie?

Maybe fold it into eighths or quarters and hold it in your left hand, as you go to pick it up with your right, use your right thumb to kick it into a gambler's cop and "pick it up" with your right hand, if done correctly, I think that would look alright.

and for traums idea, keep a bit of flash paper clipped between ur fingers then light that.
