Hotel Tricks

Hey guys im going on vaction and im thinking of doing some magic while I stay at the hotel. I need to get 2 tricks that would be good. Most likely i will be standing up or sitting down. So far I'm thinking about buying solid, but I have heard that it wasnt that great. So what 2 tricks should i get, I cant spend anymore than 20$.

First of all don't you have any previous material? Why do you need to get 2 effects? And you need to give us some info about your magic. What skill level would you consider yourself? Do you like coins, cards, mentalism, etc.

Well I have been doing magic for like a year, focused on coin for most of my magic carear. Then switched over to cards. Right now im not really interested in card tricks because i dont have a deck handy. I do not do levations either unless there VERY...VERY...VERY good.:D

If you're a "coin guy" why not performing coin tricks with the local currencie ?
This seems very fair to your spectators so they cant think you use props or gimmicks.

In your case ill do 2/3 good coin routines and a simple card trick (like a little ACR or a simple triumph (watch "party animal" by J. Guastaferro, the patter is soooo fun if you perform in a bar ^^)) but thats just my opinion :)
