I should do magic in a few weeks at a party....
I`m going to do thinks like scotch and soda,Invisible deck,Biddle Trick,haunted deck....
But what i wanna perform is an AMAZING effect....something which everybody gonna freak out...
Do you know anything?

"freaking out" comes from your audience and them being into it. It's like scaring someone, - you can't just "do it"

There has to be tension and mood and your audience has to be invested. All that comes from audience management, you being familiar with your effects, and the strength of your performance.

Michael Ammar can freak people out with sponge balls.

I agree with Magic Orthodoxy. While some effects lend themselves better to "freaking people out", it's still the presentation and audience management that really makes it happen. You can do telekinesis effects yet still barely elicit a "blah" if not properly done.

effects that ive found appeal to big audiences at partys most are stuff like saw for sure, healed and sealed, invisable deck, indecent, distortion, panic...and a bunch more.

the most impressive tricks are mentalism tricks i think..iam a mentalist...and there is nothing more than metal bending or a book test..or some mind reading stuff...cause people know that card magic is just a trick..with this stuff people belive that it cant be just a trick..and really belive in your powers...if u have some magicianstorrent or exomagic invites..i will explain you 2 or 3 mentalism effect wich require nothing or almost nothing but are a reputation maker...no penguin or ellusionist magic..iam talking about real mentalism..

You didn't like PizzaPie587's suggestions? Man you're hard to please. Get yourself a Cloak hookup and do a Haunted Deck in the spectator's hands or something. Or do a Tossed Out Deck. Or do a Russian Roulette with cups and knives.
