Hey guys im getting really interested into the vanishes where you take a blanket and cover it overself and you vanish when you drop it. Can someone give me some of those?

So please Obama, with all of your supreme knowledge of every subject, please tell this person how they do this in live shows like in Vegas.

Where does it say he wants to perform these effects. And where does it say he wants an effect with minimal cost. Just like the real Obama, putting words in other peoples mouths.

EFFECT: You are standing and you pull a towel or blanket over you and you vanish...Also im interested in when you pull a towel or blanket over yourself and you shirt changes or something.

Try this for an explanation......
You could easily pull this trick off with just one person. And it wouldn't be that costly to make a version of this. You would just have to perform it in a dim room with a black curtain in the background.

Jman watch it all the way through. She pulls on a black cloth on the back of the table to use a black art illusion. Watch when they slow it down and she walks behind the table to show there is no mirror. I missed it the first time too.

Criss Angel uses a variety of methods for disappearing outdoors. Mirrors, holes in the ground, confusion of many spectators to camoflage into, and of course, editing.

This is the best i got for quick change. You can buy a Dvd that just came out about this. I can't remember the name of it. Just search for Quickchange Dvd. I don't think many people know how to do this. But maybe this will help.

Here is a version you can do at home Just bring the bottom of your shirt, up, and over the back of your neck, don't take your head out of the neck hole. Put on a jacket to cover it up the shirt around your neck, and presto.......instant quick change.

I think im gonna buy the dvd if its not to costly...This is an effect thats just wonderful!

It really is, but I think it is very costly to make these outfits. A lot of sewing, velco, hooks, snaps are involved with this. But good luck to you.

I found Quick changing bow tie, on hank lees magic factory but I just dont see the use of it.

do i take my arms out of the sleeves? Or do I sleeve them in the sleeves and just drop the shirt and the shirt covers the body.

Maybe if you were performing in a formal function or something. I think a lot of the older magicians might use them. With age comes elegance LOL

Don't know. Quick changing is a little out of my league. This is all I know about the subject. I'm sure it's just a gimmick that the material turns inside out or something.

that video is really bad, but the shirt on your head...wouldnt the specs see that?

Not if you have the jacket in place right. I've done this before in front of family. They were all stumped. Don't draw attention to yourself. I wore a shirt instead of being bare chested. Wear a slippery shirt like silk and polyester etc. That way the other shirt slides on it without getting stuck.

So you have the shirt over you head but i dont understand how you are supposed to get it to swing in view. Do you have to pull a tab or something?

When you go behind a door or something, leave one arm sticking out in view of the audience and pull the shirt over your head with the other hand. You can do this by just turning your back to the audience, but it is easier going behind a door or something. I think there are tuts on this here on the site. Check them out. They might be more helpful then me.

yep, do the behind the door way, it's easier and just as conviencing
