the jay sankey trick?

my all time fav trick of his that i learnt from just watchin the video its very very easy and the gimmick is easy to maek as well, i cut my down so that it fits nicely in my wallet and i'm alwasy ready to perform

what ur goin ot need to do is have a camera and a tripod cause u need 2 pics exactly the same just with a ddiffferent card in the same position

print out both pics and cut out the card from one of them

glue the card u cut out to the plastic wallet in the exact position so that when the other pic is in the plastic it covers the playin card in the picture

basically what u should have is a normal lookin picture wwith a card nailed to a piece of wood or a tree or anythin like that really

to perform u need the 2 cards from the pics on top of the deck ur goin to force them

in my example i shall use the 4 hearts and the king spades, the king is the card in the final picture the 4 is glued to the piece of plastic

to sell the idea that the cards change place i also have a hole in the 4 hearts

have the king the top card, the 4 below it then the rest of the deck

take out the picture from ur wallet and show it is the 4 hearts, turn it face down and place it under ur wallet as u take the pic out of the plastic. the wallet gives perfect cover for the fact there is an extra piece attached to the plastic, alternativly u can just cover it with ur hand

now force the king onto someone and as they are lookin at it, turn over the top card (the 4) and wrist kill

they will tell u their card is not the same as in the picture and as u take it from them place it on top of the deck face up. turn over both top cards and take off the top card wich is now the 4, u have successfully switched them. place the card under the picture and explain about changin them and them pull out the card show them it has a hole in it where a nail used to be and turn it over to reveal its the 4 and the king is in the picture

its a great trick and i suggest u read what i have written as well as watchin sankeys preview video to get an idea of the movements and patter

i also have the images needed to make ur own gimmick, u just need a plastic wallet wich can b made quite easily

no i think he means the nickel one. ok how its done is he shows the coin and he does a sleight of hand swich for the nickel with the nail when he gives it to the audience. watch it again and youll see the swich so i dont have to explain that part. as far as making the gimmik coin...find a small nail and a satering gun? lol. if thats how you spell it.

thanks traum for the detailed tutorial. Yes, my original post was about sankey's nailed. I actually found your video tutorial, but now I know exactly how the trick is done. Its awesome.
