VERY good trick i invented

ok i invented a trick its not just a trick though. i might sell it on e or penguin. i have connections with a really good filming company that could totoaly help me with that. anyway if i sell it on those sites they probably wont let me sell it at anywhere else right? so am i allowed to sell it at like illcenter pub mabye arimshaws site etc.? or am i only allowed to sell to one site? will penguin and e let you sell with other sites? please answer these questions and help me about. site owners lets talk. i might show a vid of a live performane later.

I wouldnt think so, I dont think they would let you sell it anywhere else but didnt like Wayne Houchin sell "indecent" to like 3 sites..? I dont know, but could you tell us the effect of your new trick?

Why don't you just email them and ask them?

well the effect... hmmm i kinda want to show a video before i explain it. its a no gimmick everywhere pulse stop but it actualy seems ike your dieing in many ways. it truely is a very creepy effect. your breathing gets weird and hard your your eyes turn red and much more things but i wont tell you the best part of the trick just yet.( and your not really just pretending to be hurting in a way) its hard to explain ill make a vid. it might be a while though. i need to get my good camera.

If it involves hyperventilating and such, it can get really dangerous. People can faint from breathing too fast for too long.

but i can make mine red from rubbing them for a while but they will hurt like hell and you will need to take a benadryl to stop the pain and itching

there is no hypervenilating or doing stuff that can nearly hurt you theres no powder in your eye. you cant die from the trick. remember its a trick. there is one part of the trick to make your eyes red + a bonus that doesnt hurt at all but for a few seconds you have to do a certain thing to turn red that does agitate your eye for mabye 3 seconds that is not bad for it at all

no hypervenilating. nothing that will hurt you long or short term. sorry for double posting i wanted to make this clear. although to the spectator they probably think your gonna die in the next few minutes. lol.

well i may have got in a bit late since there are already 3 pages but heres my answer to ur question

if u sell the rights to the trick to the site sellin it or u give certain rights (some places may ask if they can have the rights to sell the trick for a year or more) that means u can only sell it thru that website until that time period is up, so read the small print if that is the case. if on the other hand u decide u want to get money by sellin units to companies then u can sell it on as many sites as will buy ur trick easy as that. then u have to worry about how u will get paid, u have to think about this honestly, not how u good u think the trick is but how good it will b percieved amongst the magic community especially when there is already a very good competitor trick on the market. u then have to decide what will make more money, havein the actual trick bought by a company, givin them the full rights to the trick giving u an emediate payout, or sellin it by unit, meaning u only get paid when someone buys a dvd or whatever

A nice post. The only thing I can really add to this (I have no experience whatsoever) is that if you sell it to a publisher rather than to a shop (e.g. to Paper Crane Productions [only one I could think of] instead of Ellusionist) then I guess they'd be doing all the hard work of getting it around all the shops (at a cut, of course)

i deleted that post, the reason bein the trick is old news and the second bein the trick is dangerous, how ever safe or what ever u or mr houchin claim it to be, stickin things in ur eye is not safe and u can quite easily scratch ur eye ball or worse
