How in the hell is this done!?

I've looked everywhere for tutorials, but i cant find any.

I read traumatized post about the middle finger contacting it, but that is REALLY weak... Theres no way that can be the method.

And why the hell are there so many names for the same effect?

ok this is how its done u just click ur fingers. the noise u hear when u click ur fingers is actually ur finger hitting the base of ur thumb with such force

so have a card selected and replaced, control it to the top turn over a double to reveal its not the right card and take off both cards, now ur goin to put both cards in the deck to apear as one but u need to have them seperated by at least 5 cards so how ever u wanna do that is fine i wont go into that.

now u will have 2 cards stickin out the deck the upper most card is a random one the lower card is tyhe selection but it should apear as tho there is only one card stickin out of the deck so watch ur angles

position ur hand so the base of ur thumb is in line with the top of the deck and almost resting on it, u have to make sure ur hand is parallel with the deck and then just click ur finger, i always use my middle finger, gives me more power, but wich ever finger ur most comfortable with usein

and ur finger should contact and push in the top most card revealing the selection below it. it will take a great deal of practice to get the power and position right but thats it

the reasoning behind the positionin of the hand is all down to where the finger ends when u click to get the most out of ur click u need the end position of the finger to b pretty much on the top edge of the deck

Wrong... Miika, the creator of Once in a Lifetime (wicth is different from the others) taught it to me personally, and it doesn't work like that!

well that i beleive is the color change he is after, i had the video taught by the creator himself. the person that made this thread is the one that put all those names in the title, maybe he thought they were the same thing just with a different name

The G.O.A.T. Change is also done differently cuz when you look at the performance, you can see that it is a regular double lift where the card is revolved and than placed in the middle of the deck (this double lift is thaught in The Trilogy) and the cards aren't seperated.

I don't know how the ICEchange is done, so for as far as I know the Carolina Click Change is the the only one where the cards are seperated to do the change.

yeah thats the one i saw, they need to b slightly seperated for the click to only happen on one card.

he just has to decide wich trick it is he actually wants to learn lol

goat change is hard, but easy kinda, I was practicing last night before i went to bed and its just the same as the impulse change, just wen u click ur middle finger hits the top of the card and it flies into the deck

U need to hold the deck so ur fingers are gripping it enough that it will not go over the edge of the deck

Guys, the GOAT change is completely different from the Carolina Click change or the impulse change, here is the working method:

1) First, get a double into the center of the deck, sticking diagonally out of the top left hand corner like in the vid of dan and dave.

2) Then hold the deck in MECHANIC'S GRIP. Notice your second finger is touching the area in which the right side of the double touches the top edge of the rest of the deck. KEEP YOUR SECOND FINGER THERE.

3) Now move only your thumb away from mechanic's grip position, and go under the double, and slightly press upwards onto the area of the double near the upper left hand corner.

4) Your second finger should still be touching the area where the right side of the double touches the top edge of the deck. Now with the thumb pressing up near the top left hand corner of the double, your second finger pulls slightly down on the "meeting area" of the double and the top side of the deck. The right side of the double should separate slightly and form a gap.

5) So now the left side is kept together due to the pressing of the thumb, while the right side has a slight gap. Snap your fingers on the top right hand corner of the top card (which is now separated by the deck), and the card will fly in.

6) The rest of the fingers should be gently holding the MECHANIC'S GRIP, while the thumb and second finger should be the only two fingers moving.

This works for me and I hope it does for you guys too :)

I think clicking is the same as snapping? But, I really don't get it. If I do this the card moves in but not far enough. It stays sticking out for an inch :(
