I'm watching Mindfreak and I'm stumped!

How in the hell did he pass that cigarette through the glass table. I started to think it was like that old plastic frame (usually red in color) that you can pass a pencil and pen through, but the black napkin was in the center of the table. Thats alot of glass to slide to get to the hole. Then I got to thinking about the gimmicked cigarette thru bill, but thats not it either. Then, once the cigarette is thru, he puts his lips to the glass and starts to puff on it and then blows smoke. I'm stumped! Great trick.

sounds to me like the thing cyril did with the salt shaaker and if it is then yes the whole glass top moves just like those small plastic things u described, was he table against a wall by any chance?? cause if it was then i'm almost posative thats the way cause thats exactly how cyril did it

No the table wasn't near a wall. Personally I liked this episode, is seemed like one of the only episodes worth watching, I don't think I noticed any camera tricks involved in this one. And yes that cigarrette trick was awsome.

thats they do, it seems to b an on goin thing with criss and cyril. they both do the same tricks only cyril does it with a bit more of an impromptu flair where as with criss he doesnt seem to like takin the risk and just gets some obvious actor in and it always ends up lookin so fake lol

its mostly affected by cyrils personality to. He seems more believable and human then someone like criss angel, and 50% of the time he does tricks with cards and coins that are possible for the normal magician to do, no 500 dollar gimmicks. He uses thumb tips alot too, though i think his double lifts sucks

thats very true, the one thing i hate about criss is he tries to bring all these complicated stage illusions to the street and most of the time it just ends up lookin so fake and unbeleivable.
even if cyrils double lift sucks im sure he'd win hands down at a magic battle lol

I agree, although Criss Angel has some awsome effects that are done by the use with sleight hand. Hs older special "Mindfreak" was awsome, he just doesn't stick to that stuff anymore.

How criss does the cig thru glass table is very obviously as you said like the small red plastic pencil thru gimmick. As you can see from the table criss uses, it is a wooden table with extended wooden area on both side, which is the extra slack required for the sliding glass, and he does the cig thru table near the side of the table and not in the middle as the slack is not enough to slide a hole to the middle.when he lift the napkin infront of the specs, their vision is on the napkin, under the cover of the napkin the hole in the glass is quickly slide out.

But Cyril's version is just baffling and far superior, if you see Cyril's version of Salt Shaker thru glass table, he uses a bare glass table, no frames on all side, and the only cover is his hand. That is amazing and really mindboggling...

I think when he put lips to glass and sucked and blew a little smoke He already had in mouth and when he blew he only blew a little bit but still some in his mouth.... But through the glass.... Just amazing..

anyone see criss's lame thumb tip magic on that episode? I lol'd non-stop it was so obvious, the thumb tip was huge, like he broke a huge pickle and shoved it on his thumb.
