its not illegal to own a lighter, zippo or otherwise as far as im aware, its what u use it for that may be considered illegal, to b on the safe side i wouldnt start flashin to the police or anythin like that lol

it just depends what the laws are on smokin and things like that, really anyone under 18 doesnt have a deffinative purpose for carryin a lighter other than underage smokin. its a bit of a tricky subject really. if u can justify the reason u have a lighter in the first place then i wouldnt have thought there would b a problem. altho i'm not too sure the police will look highly upon ur reason bein cause i like to do magic or i do lighter flourishes lol

well if stores wont sell one to you (with a parent or not) thats a pretty good sign you shouldnt have one, even if its not actually illegal..

ya im from canada and i bought a zippo when i was 12. it all depends on hte store owner really. and its not illegal to own a lighter
