We are having a talent show at are school and I'm pretty popular for my magic. and I'm considered cool  So for my talent show I'm going to be a geek. I'm going to do the color changing suspenders, production of an eight foot pencil, color changing bowtie, fish bowl from wallet, but I can't think of any more geeky tricks. Could you help me out a little?

Ever heard about Lennart Green? You could do a routine from him where you have someone shuffle the deck and another guy names a card or a suit and you take that card or those cards in that suit out.. IN ORDER without looking at the cards. Can even be blindfolded. Just say you have memorized the deck by heart:)

but It mustnīt be hard to wear red socks over green socks and roll them down ( more as a joke than a trick ), or cut cloth over the socks and palm it off...or pull it up in your pants, like self tieing shoelaces ?

lol: online dictionaries and talking to you guys help me improving It ;) thats another reason why I like this forum: in my area thereīs only a handful of other magicians, and as you might know: some tricks need almost eternity until they arrive here, so itīs great to find new ideas and tipps here. And I like the fact, that there are really good people here, that know what they talk about... It helps much to improve a foreign language just to jump into cold water... And as far as I have experienced, everybody is nice here and even understands my, as we say in germany, "denglisch" ( deutschenglisch)...if phrases, words and grammar is sometimes mixed up and misunderstandable :D

Color Changing Socks

Price: $30.00

The dashing, debonair and oh-so-smartly-dressed magical entertainer suddenly leaps up onto the table (as if in some half-dazed psychotic fit) and proclaims that he will perform the fantastic color-changing sock trick ... an exhibition of one of the greatest ‘feets’ of magic ever seen! Pulling up his trousers legs, the right foot is shown to be wearing a red-striped sock while the left foot is shown to be wearing a blue-striped sock. Calming down, somewhat, and in an effort to regain his composure and some semblance of sanity, the magician explains that it is actually a much easier trick than it sounds ... as the socks don’t actually change color - they just jump from foot to foot to give the ‘illusion’ of changing color. So saying, with a snap of his fingers and a bolt of lightning as a sign from above, the right trouser leg is lifted to show the blue sock! However, when the left trouser leg is lifted it is seen that the red sock has missed the foot com pletely, leaving it bare. The red sock is found, instead, in the left coat pocket! Note: This effect is only for those who can present off-beat, wacky and bizarre comedy. You do not necessarily have to stand on the table to perform this effect. In the hands (feet?) of its originator - Steve Biller - it was the concluding effect at an S.A.M. convention close-up contest where he won first prize and at an Abbott Magic Get-together where he won large quantities of applause and laughter. Complete (except for that lightning bolt) with the necessary socks and instructions.

LOL... nice to see another "Kraut" ( well... at least with relatives... of course I know you are not ) here :D ( to be honest: 80% of germans donīt like sauerkraut, we are more into fast food nowadays... and donīt wear lederhosn...

But we are getting quite a little off-toppic...

A Geeky thing that came into my mind: pull rabbit-ears out of a hat... and then put them on the head of your cutest female student: showing a Nerd can be a real Playboy ;)
