Even if i do .... they say magic is fake? they all mostly think criss angel is real lmao.

What i think card magic is impossible to be fake... its sleight of hand.

But seriously is it exposure to teach a friend interested in magic some tricks?

tell 'em magic is an art, and they are simply showing dissrespect to that art when they put you down for that

and yes its exposure, teaching to a fellow magician still exposure, it will always be exposure

go ahead and teach your friend. i first go started in magic because my friend showed me this one trick and looking back at it I laugh because the tricks I used to do were so gay. but any ways teach it to him... you now have somebody to practice with. teach him the basics then move on from there. tell him to join LMT.

i suggest the first thing you teach him is the double lift. He tried to teach me but I was to stubborn and want to learn real tricks and now I have trouble with it. No matter what teach him the double lift first.

really i think you should teach your friend the grips, then get more advanced with the swivel cut and pinky break or thumb count

I disagree. If anything, a decent double lift is actually hard to learn properly, with all the nuances and stuff. Start even lower!

I agree wholeheartedly here. Add to that simple forces and card controls. Those alone can last a magician a long time.
