out of now where tricks

I love using things that come out of now where or the sort. I have appearing 8 foot pole, fantasio steel cane, and appearing sword. I use the cane in my performance, but I havnt started to use the sword or pole. my partner also has an appearing sword, but I am not sure what to do with it. It would be weird to be like:


"whoa sword out of no where! no wait, 2 swords! ok next trick..."

I don't have any appearing stuff gimmicks, so I guess my advice is pretty rubbish.
But would it be possible to use the sword for a trick and then just use the appearing part as a little extra?

For example.
You could like do the 21 card trick or something, then just use your sword, to point at the pile they want or something. So before you do the 21 card trick, just be like, "Let me just get my sword." And then make it appear.
(That is just an example I wouldn't use the 21 card trick)

But, I am honestly not a stage person at all.
The only vanish I do commonly is like a tenkai. In my ACR, I would just throw the card away (when really just doing a tenkai vanish) then it would come back to the top of the deck. I don't make a big deal of vanishing the card like, "I am now going to magically make this card I am holding vanish" It is more of just a little extra, kinda like a flourish, like doing a ribbon spread, you don't go, "Watch, I am going to spread the cards out so they look nice."

Yea I get what you mean. Maybe you could do this: force a card to the spec., shuffle, and make the sword appear and hit, slash the deck. now look through the deck, which every card is normal but theres, which has a slash mark on it.
