the first one( lite flight ) uses a thumbtip with a 12 or 14 inch piece of panio wire sticking out of it. the light is on the end of the wire....
the second(d'lite flight) uses invisible thread and works just like steve fearsons floating cigarette...
just like this...
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fPWmgTZ_vlM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fPWmgTZ_vlM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It's anchored under your thumb nail.

ok first of all piano wire is stiff so it would be like a very thin rod so it doesnt need support. second, its not piano wire. its just a guy behind the camera using a laser pointer. u can see that the ball never completely touches his hand.

i wouldnt have thought it is the camera man or a guy behind the camera that is pointing a laser pointer, its will all b controled in the thumb tip like the original d'light.
d'light flight is a wire of some kind but i think the new version of d'light is a similar concept to a laser pointer, at least that is what it looks like to me and i assume that is what specs will think too

Wrong-O...1 end to your ear or mouth or behind neck over the top of your head...the other to the ball.

Try again.
Anchored under your left or right thumb nail, then over your head, from back to front.
I know Fearson's Hookup. And that was the question.
Magick I have one question for you.
I love this hookup, but I rarely use it with a cig though I would love to, being a smoker. How do you get it to balance so well? Haha.
And Junyert sorry I was so brief before, I was in a bit of a rush. Lol.

thats interesting.....because, i would never use this hook-up for anything that isn't cig shaped....
candy and bills and stuff like that tend to twirl and look like they're hanging from a string.

I've done it with bazooka joe gum, I don't remember the magician that got me the idea. I just mean in general, any tips on minimizing the twirl. I like the hook-up so much because it allows more freedom than most, the object doesn't follow your hand at all times.
I don't use IT much, and I've never presented anything to someone with this hook-up, just practiced a bit with it to see if I liked it.

use something that doesn't twirl....a cig, golf pencil, crayon, tootsie roll, smarties,
use your imagination.....
but a cig works better than anything i have ever tried.
