Are there any good sellers or any bad sellers to watch out for? I want something as close to real as possible. They're being sold for 15-20 bucks it looks like

yes i have baught a knock off altho its not advertised as wow as it is not for a card to card transpo. mine is the business card printing version. blank card to a printed card. so i can use it as one of the most visual ways to hand out my business card to clients and also use it for a wow gimmikc only instead of havein to use the same playin card to change it from i can use a blank face playin card and i use a patter about how cards are actually made and printed and then go and demonstrate by makin a copy of the selected card...sometimes it is able to copy signatures too lol
i really think that if u actually take carer of the gimmick then u wont have any problems with how it works, even masudas wow is delicate and will break if u dont handle it with care.
admitadly i've only had mine a week, but i've used it constantly every day and i even had a party on saturday in wich i printed a lot of business cards and it still works absolutly fine
if ur short on cash then i would sugest buyin a knock off till u can afford the real thing, heck if ur really strapped for cash make ur own first then work ur way up to buyin a knock off then the real thing
the best knock off to buy is called knock out, it is a fully licenced trick designed exactly the same as wow but u take a regualr 6 hearts and turn it into a mixed up card that can be examined, obviously u just substitute the mixed up card for a selected card and u have wow

it actually says you can use ANY poker sized card. that sounds interesting. was that what you were talking about? If so, this sounds better than masuda's version since you can use ANY indifferent card

no it is the same as wow, u cannot use any indiffernet card, the indiffernt card is the same all the time because of how the gimmikc is made. what they mean is u can change that indiffernet card into any otehr card in the deck just like the wow gimmick. but yes that is waht i was talkin about and it is identicle to wow in how it works, it used to come with a gaff card cause to prevent the obvious lawsuit from masuda it was designed to be a selected card changes to a jumbled up card inside the sleeve, but u can obivously use it the exact same way as wow

u dont seem to understand, u cannot use any indifferent card on any version, what they mean is u can change the card in the wallet to any card. but the card u start with in the wallet is the same every time

I have 5 WOW sleeves. Each cost me $5. It is made in China I guess but works perfectly awesome. When I did the trick they didn't even bother to check the sleeve. All of them went on to the card the picked and always thought it was somehow a rigged one lol.
Different value in gimmick will allow you to perform to same audience in case they want to see it again.

do you tell the spectator you will place the card in the protective sleeve or don't you even bring up the sleeve and just slide the card inside? how can you take the heat off the sleeve so they arent suspicious of it?

no one is suspicious of it, i have a different verison in that i print blank playin cards into regular playin cards and i use the patter of the sleeve bein a card printing device
as soon as they take the card out of the sleeve no one cares about the sleeve its self they just care about the card that came out
i perform it all the time and have not once had anyone ask to inspect the sleeve

Well, I do double lift with palm, showing the card that has the same value with the gimmick. Then I put them back into the deck, took out the sleeve. Showing it around even under the light to see there's nothing inside it. No secret hiding place or thread.
Then I took the top card on the deck which they think the wrong card while actually it's already their card. Slide it in, and pretend to adjust it well inside the sleeve while you actually activate the gimmick, showing the wrong card. Do some little shake and everyone just amazed.
To do it further, I usually even invite one of the spectator to shake the sleeve. Usually I say something like "People always think magician never allows audience to touch their cards or items. Now today one of you will do the tricks, not me." While I'm holding their hand and pretend to help him/her to make sure the sleeve is visible to others. Then when we shake it, I move the gimmick so the card changes into their selection.
The reaction is just awesome. Some of them straight away run to check the card, didn't bother to touch the sleeve :D
