hey, i put a variation on the classic "time machine" trick.
please tell me what you think of it.
It's a bit sloppy, i know but the point i'm trying to get out right now is the ending. I'll do a way better one later,
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2CTtM9_IHB4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2CTtM9_IHB4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
and here is another video i found cool. it looks original. if somebody has an idea of how it is pulled off, do tell

not too bad, u really need to work on ur double lifts tho...big time, especially the get ready. and try and work on ur patter in all honesty it was a bit painful tryin to stay focused and concentrate on the trick cause it just went on for way to long than it needed, the endin isnt too bad tho
and whats with all the decks of cards lined up??

yeah it does go on for a while, i never really perform this trick i just learned it and thought the vintage ace of spades would be a nice touch.
Yeah my doubles are pretty bad there normally a lot better but i have my litle sister who comes in ever 5 minutes so i just had to be sure i did it right, even if it was sloppy.
and the cards...
i just have the area i do magic in set up like that
and thanks, for the reply

its a cool performance, but laymen have shitty attention spans. I would reccomend you make the trick's patter much shorter. It better sells the fact of what card is in the center and what is on top because you JUST put them in the center and top. If you don't properly engage them (this has happened to me plenty of times ) they will literally not know what the hell happened. Back when I first started magic, I had friends literally forgetting what card they picked, just because my pacing was so poor. As for double lifts, I would reccomend you look into the strike double lift. You'll pick it up before you know it. Otherwise, a more natural get ready in front of laymens' face is picking up the top card, flicking it, and with your other hand slightly pushing the top card over and getting a break under it. Obviously you then put the card on top of the pack and turn it over.

hey thanks,
I also thought the trick was too long when using the ending i did.
I actually confused myself while recording the video.
I don't intend to perform this to anybody, i just wanted to get other's opinions on the whole adding the vintage ace of spades.
I've been working on it anyway though and think that just doing the main card switch and suggesting to try again and then revealing the vintage ace after the "time machine being faulty". it would make the trick much shorter, i'll record it
and post it when it's done and uploaded.
(I'll be using the mechanic's double, which is the one i actually use and do smoothly I'm not sure why i doubled like that in the video, I'm terrible at it.)
it would probably be like 20x better although like i said I'll probably never use it but i want to complete the idea rather than just think of it and leave it so sloppy
