The name is apparently called the celebrity deck but I still don't know how it works in either video. (the trick with his own name I'd really like to know) Here is a youtube video of performance:

so simple to figure out, notice how he doesnt spread the deck out to show they are all differnet he cuts the deck. every other card is the 10 of spades, the guy sells the effect by sayin the black cards have male celebrities and the red cards have females, so when the guy says its a black card he can name any male celebrity he wants cause the all the 10 of spades in the deck are the only cards with male celebs on them. easy trick

traum: is it also a stripper deck then to influence him to cut to a male celebrity? (male celebriy would be long and females would all be short?)

no thats called a svengali, hence why i said its a svengali deck

stripper decks have tapered sides a svengali is short and long cards
