it cant be because on the site where buy it it says it has to be removed at knife point..and it says it comes with a gimmick..so its not just a hold in the side.

ok i have 2 guesses on how he does this.

i think he cuts a big slit in the side of the bottle and just pushes the cell phone to it and he might have some sort of really see through scotch tape that he kinda tapes it back up with a bit. (just a guess)

there is a hole at the bottom of the bottle he opens the hole up (the hole is hanging on by like an inch or two of plastic) and slips the object through the bottom i guess. then it probably gets taped up in some weird way so the object doesn't fall out...

I usually don't reveal tricks but you have to buy the gimmick anyway it is just a slit you remove it at knive point infront of the spectators to create the illusion that there are no slits the slit is unnoticable. I believe the gimmick is just a thumb tip with a small blade coming out of it and you slit the bottle when you hold it.

You then cut a large silt bigger than the label (it will be visible, but when you take the cell phone out with the knife, it makes sence for it to be there) You then glue back the label, and you are set to go. Practice just putting the cell phone in the bottle withought making it to suspisious

um if you take the label off and cut a slit, then seal the label again, won't a portion of the slit be impossible to use without taking off the label, which would cause some problems?

Very cool gimmick indeed. I dont know if I would use it for CIB routines, as the spectators would want to inspect things afterwards, but if you want to put a larger item like a spectators cell phone into a bottle, then you have a legitamite reason for cutting the bottle open to remove the cell phone, so you could then hand them back their phone and the cut bottle. Haveing someone call the phone while it's in the bottle would be cool too, to proove to the audience that it's not a duplicate phone.

I have it. The gimmick is a flick TT razor blade. As you turn the bottle away, you flick out the blade and slit it through, the handphone is then smacked through the slit. Flick open the TT blade again pretend to cut through where you had cut before. Take the phone out and that's sit.
