Hey, I know people that are like I know this trick .. and go on for like 100 more. I'm sure you guys got heaps too, what I did was narrow them down to the best 10 ones I would perform, it's much easier for me now because I only practice them and get them perfect.

P.S. It's the same with color changes, card controls etc, do you really NEED all of them? Pick the best striking visual color change that you know you'll always perform for your color change. And for control.. seriously, you don't need like 50 controls.. Who CARES if Dan and Dave BUck teach 50?? I doubt they use them all, so you don't need to either, pick 1 and practice it over and over and things will become much easier for you..

This isn't a demand I'm just saying what helped me alot:)

i remember being at a lecture years ago and Eugene Burger saying that he had dropped several effects from his Repertoire, and that it now consisted of only 25 effects.....
he also said he thought if he could get that number down to 20 he could be a star.

I agree. Sometimes you get inspirations on how to improve your own existing tricks with them. Also sometimes, you just can't help but enjoy magic for magic's sake. Tommy Wonder used to do it. He'd read magic books not because he wanted to be able to do the tricks, but to simply enjoy them.
