its a gimmicked deck, the cards repeat. when the guy is dealin after the guy has dealt the cards out and taken the selections duplicates of those seelctions are brought to the top and bottom of the deck. the riffle shuffles he makes he just has to remember to keep the bottom card and the top card in the same places. he looks thru the deck as if that makes any difference he just notes the top and bottom cards
