Ok. I went over to my parents house to help throw away an old pool table. I saw all the pool balls in the garbage and took them back home with me wondering if some kind of trick can be done with them.
So the my question to you is...
are there any cool tricks I can do with pool balls?
May be a weird question, but i was curios.

multiplying pool balls...if you have really big hands...but youd need to cut one of the pool balls up though..

Multiplying balls only works because the balls are sponge and/or small. Usually both
no.....the mulitipling billard balls uses three solid balls and a shell....

The multiplying billiard balls does not use standard size billiard balls
i have a 2 inch set here....that is pretty close.....
and at one time they did use standard billiard balls.
that is how it got the name.

If you think these are regulation size "pool balls", you have really bad vision:

If you put a standard pool ball inside an adult's palm, he would not be able to palm it, let alone put it between 2 fingers very easily
it be hard but it can be done..and the official set isnt much smaller than regulation size pool balls

you don't have to hold them between 2 fingers to make them multiply....
do you think that method of displaying 4 balls is the only one that has ever been used.....
if you don't do that standard display.....manipulating a large set would be quite easy.
and i can palm a pool ball....not that hard.

Do a google image search for "multiplying billiard balls". Of course you can "multiply" the balls in other ways, but it's not a coincidence that googling "multiplying billiard balls" yields all pictures of them between your fingers. It's a term of art (i.e. as used in the magic community it means something specific)
look dude, all im trying to get at is the mulitiplying billiard balls was originally done with actual billiard balls....
the size was later made smaller so a larger number of manipulations was possible.....
the size they are now doesnt have any bearing on how they were 150 years ago.
the standard routine you see used now is something that has evolved.......
the first mulitipling billiard ball routines most likely didnt use a shell either.
there is a routine in the amature magicians handbook that uses 4 golf balls and no shell.
the way things are now is not the way they have always been.

i can quite easily palm a full size billiard pool, but the only way i have ever seen its not really my type of thing, i've only ever really seen it done with a shell, and the way u display the balls gives nothin awaya as to weather they use a shell or not. for one they could just be posin like that for photos. but most of the time it will b done with a shell and the balls nest together

No more than just 7 red and 7 yellow.... Its 7 solid colored and 7 striped... There is more colors than just yellow and red...
