Best Rubber Band trick in the world?

All of you know the huge thing on youtube regarding 'Ultradeepbase' 's performance of 'Best card trick in the world' He's posted another video called best rubber band trick in the world. It's actually pretty decent. According to him its from Chris Kenner's book out of control.

its not bad...in all honesty i was bored watchin that, i hate rubber band magic its just the same old crap repeated, and its not really that amazing to me, linkin rubber bands is deffinatyl not a trick i would ever perform, its just lame lol

It is in Totally Out Of Control. It's also a 1on1 at Theory11. Basically, the small rubber band is just doubled over itself like in the classic "broken and restored rubber band." But traum is right, rubber band magic is boring. Basically all you can do is link/unlink them to each other or other things.

Ouch Traum! I love rubber band magic and it makes up about 5 minutes of my closeup/walk-around set. It kills (or maybe I'm just delusional!). I start with Crazy Man's Handcuffs, then the same in spectator's hands (both out and in), then explain the trick by using the linking bands with a broken/restored fake explanation.

Try it dude! You'll like it! All of your friends are doing it....Not to mention your fingers will smell like rubber!

thats kind of my point...like orbit brown said the only real thing u can do with rubber bands is keep linkin and unlinkin, i'm sure ur routine is killer and people enjoy it, i just think rubber band magic is borein, just my personal preference really, i know people like it or else there wouldnt be dvds and such to learn it, its just never appealed to me thats all, i dont even do crazy mans handcuffs....rubber bands are not somethin the average person comes accross every day where i live and for me to carry rubber bands around is just a bit weird....things like playin cards....or pens and paper i can easily find layin around almost every where...if someone doesnt have a deck of cards they will most likely have a pen and a piece of paper or a business card and i can quite happily and easily do a short mentalism routine or a few card tricks if i'm caught unprepared...where as rubber bands are not as easy to come by
