I might be buying some magic stuff soon..
I will be spending somewhere between 50-80 dollars
And I am wondering what would be a good investment...
By The Way I am mostly Into card magic.. I don't mind gimmicks but I do prefer items with new sleights I can learn..
So I am up for suggestions please :D

Buy something non-DVD or non-book. You can get it through torrents or other stuff. Get props and materials
Stuff like what? Mind going into further detail?

that is what we all want.....to get the best reactions we can..........no one wants to be a magician who gets ok reactions....
the trick is finding material that works for you.
stuff that suits your personality, that you enjoy performing.....and no one can tell you those things.....
people can suggest, but thats all. i know lots of great material that i never do...because it dosent suit my style. other people get strong reactions from it but it dosent work for me......

Yeah that makes a lot of sense and Yeah I am just trying to find something that suits me...
I am just wondering if anyone knows any books or DVD's that will help me improve my showmanship or something that will teach me new sleights that I can incorporate into other things that I already know

now that is something i can help you with......
darwin ortiz wrote a book called "strong magic" creative showmanship for the closeup magician. it is great, there are no tricks in it.....but it will teach you to get more from your magic....a great investment.
he also wrote a sequal to it..."designing miracles"
