do you love d'lites, but just think that spending 40 bucks is too much for 2 thumb tips with touch activated LED's? you've come to the right place.

make them for about 3 dollars or less.(3 dollars for each d'lite, 6 dollars for a pair)

i got all the materials from my science class[(jacked them...;) ;) )] ((except the thumb tip, which i got for 3 bucks from a cheap magic store))

heres the pictures and explanations

22
This is everything you will need.

23
I found this circuit board thing with LED's, or some other cool red lights :-)

28
This is a regular battery pack that holds 2 AA batteries. You go get the 2 batteries now! ....

25
Connect the battery pack to the circuit board thing, but only the blue, or whatever color, the NEGATIVE wire. do this securely using tape. My battery pack allredy had wires attached to it, and so should yours. but if not, go get some wiring and attach it to the pack with some regular tape.

26
Here you can see that i have attached the red, or positive, wire, but i taped it about half an inch off the end to expose the wirering completely.

i have to make 3 threads since this stupid, no offense d j castle...system does not let me putm more than 5 attachements. so read on to the other thread titled

"awesome home-made d'lite2"

Cool thread smithers. a few places to find them led lights is Radio shack......and of course the thrift stores, thrift stores sells really cheap remote controls for tvs sometimes and inside some remotes is the red led lights.....walmart has some push key lights which also has red led lights and are cheap {I think these work off one hearing aid battery}.

keep up the good work smithers.....remember thinkers makes creators and creators makes followers :)

this took me about a day to figure out how i could do it and another one to make it work perfectly.

these lights are easily found in a radioshack, very true, but you could also just jack some from your science teacher.....:D :D :D

Smithers I don't know if its from an entire thread or just a post but to save you the trouble from keeping up multiple threads Just do this.

Create a new thread (ill get rid of the others for you if this works). Make 3 random posts in the thread so no one can post in between them (so you have four posts in a row). I believe you are allowed 5 attachments for each post not each thread so edit each post one after another and add the attachments to each posts. I hope you understand what Im getting at. This would save the forum space as well as making it easier for you.

Once again this all depends if the limit is 5 attachments per thread or per post. Anyways, if oyu have any questions just ask. Also I think its great that you went through all the trouble to provide us with this informaiton. Unfortunatly I don't have a thumb tip.
