Linking Cards Practice

Anything I should improve on? Also any ideas for patter?

Oh no see I know what patter is. I was asking what patter should I use for the effect.

Thank you, but let me word this correctly. Ok I have known what patter was for years now. My question was what should I say during the effect. I am making a street magic video somtime during the summer and was considering performing it.

the only major thing that need real work is the unfolding of the cards at the end....
both cards need to unfold smoothly and at the same time, as the hands seperate....

at the beginning make sure that the cards are flat (right before the link)....not part folded as they were in your vid....also work on the timing of the up and down motion of the first link. your timing was off and in the video it is plain that you are folding the cards. do the fold on the upward motion, not as you come down.


there are so many little handling touches in this effect that are in the actual instructions...that you just dont get in a youtube video....i wish you could read the real thing...


any way...good job!!!

i can tell you have done some real work on this effect in the last few days....but dont waste the work you have done....keep practicing and reall polish this effect before you start showing it to everyone.

dude mystifier you really are doing good now adays man!

you did very good here dude....little patter would have ben nice cause i couldnt quite remember the whoel trick...but still a very good job...also raise your cam a bit..it was annoying how the card kept going off the sides.

oh i forgot to mention...you linked the wrong card.....the two cards that are the same color (your jacks) are the ones the card gets linked on..set it up in order from jack on botom, whatever link card you want, then the other jack on top....so when the pips arent showing it really looks like the two cards

Oh yeah I realized that earlier after I uploaded it. I didn't realize it when I was performing it. Big mistake on my part.

That was nicely done !
About the patter, why don't you use the original one (used by PH and also DC) ?
It's very fun for the spectator and it really looks like a joke until you do the first link
