Hi, I just saw a trick on http://www.kranzomagic.com called vision. I was wondering if any of you know how it is done? It's on the first page if you scroll down. I really appreciate your answers. It says it's impromptu. It looks impossible to me.
Cheers, Andreas

Hi, I just saw a trick on http://www.kranzomagic.com called vision.
Well its not out yet, so i dont think anyone truly know how it works. Although I would say its a gimmick. Reminds me of that one trick where the pencile is split down the center langth wise so you can out it on the inside and outside at the same times.
Here is the video as Mr. Andreasdia dose not know how to embed.

Well It's not a gimmick. It's impromptu. Therefore it uses no gimmicks. The trick where the pencil is split down you need to have the bill folded in the other direction so it can't be it. THank you for answering!

I disagree with that, Impromptu means you don’t have to set anything up, you can just be handed something and do a trick.
With the pencil if someone hands you a dollar and says do a trick you can take out your pencil, not have to set anything up and just go right into the trick. That is impromptu.
SO this trick can still be impromptu and have a gimmick, just depends on if there is any set up with the gimmick for if you can just go right into it.

Wtf?
That's incredibly obvious... isnt it?
He exposes it when he unfolds the bill the first time; its just folded in "w" kind of shape and the pencil slots through the bottom part... :/

No that is not true, you can see it is sitting on the inside, then he brings the back end of the pencil down and dose a sawing motion, but then brings it up doign the same sawing mothing but with the back end up in the air.
If it was just on the bottom half of the bill to begin with, this move would be impossible.

yeah its a gimmick pencil for sure......i'm not sure in what way its gimmicked but like professor said the way he is sawing the pencil thru the bill, doesnt look like its gimmickless or some weird fold....it has to be a gimmick pencil to accomplish that effect
lol.. you fucking idiots.. its not a gimmicked pencil you morons -.-
I got the DVD from the creator himself. And I know this is NOT gimmicked at all.

Hmmm.... After the slit you caused to the note, wouldn't the spectator whom lend you the note notice the slit? How impromptu is that?

It was written on the website, both pen/pencil and bill are borrowed... So it means that the pencil was gimmicked? Do you know the exact method?

Genious? Idiots? or Morons? Who got the real method? Or is a slit on the pencil considered it not gimmicked?

It uses no gimmicked pens or anything like that. Believe me, I know. I'm the creator, and I would really appreciate if you didn't reveal the effect!

dont really feel all that great havein ur tricks exposed, but that is the nature of an exposure website....u've been here long enough to know what goes on. there cant be one rule for some magicians and another rule for other magicians....u've made a trick, u've sold it so that it is availabel to the public so it will get exposed if people want it enough thats life...unfortunatly thats just how it goes......no doubt it will be on neomagician somewhere.....maybe u should go there and tlak with them as well to stop them revealing ur trick.....and while ur at it i could give u the web addresses of about a dozen more sites that i know of, u should join them and make a few posts to tell people not to reveal ur trick too

I agree...Just another W fold...he never holds the bill by itself with the pencil hanging inside the "cradle" made by the fold.
Also (so lame) is that the promo says 1-bill 1-pen when they are using a pencil...Yes I realize a pen can also be used.

Alrite guys... I've done a poorly written tutorial for this trick. Go check it out for those who wish to know. :)

Alrite guys... It's not a "w" fold, neither is it a gimmicked pencil. It's a slit on the bill. And there's gonna be a bill switch if it's a borrowed note. The slit is around 1cm wide, so the pencil will go thru the slit on the left side of the bill instead of the opening of the folded bill on the right where it seems like its where the pencil is entering.
Correct you are (I watched the tut too)...On the whole...not really the "best" method.
The W-Fold would allow the bill to be returned with no switch, but not the 2nd part...which needs the slit....I like A.E. better
