Hi, i am looking for an effect where a signed card "teleports" to a signed deck or an envelope or something. Hopefully you know what I mean. A signed card teleporting to somewhere else without palming it or something like that. If you could tell me name of a trick that is similar to the above description I would highly appreciate it!
Cheers, Andreas

Why don't you like palming?? Seriously, people will assume your hand is empty if you make it appear empty. Is that sooo hard?? Palming is soooo under rated =/

i understand your resistance to palming... I have it too and its prolly the last sleight any magician learns. It was certainly mine.

But learning some different palming techniques other than classice palm will help, i never use classic palm...because why use it when you can use the gambler's cop

the gamblers cop RULES

there isnt an effect to get the card "anywhere" but there is stapled by luke jermay thats pretty easy to watch and figure out, I dont really like it, cause, seriously who the heck carries around a stapler, there is also daniel madisons "Re-pocket" which works fantastic as a pre-closer

So if you were to do a card to pocket routine, You'd use the gamblers cop?

The classic palm or top palm is soooo under rated and should be used so much more. it's such a good sleight. Just imagine you got nothing in ur hands. You can literally pull out a card from wherever you want. Isnt that amazing? it IS! so use the classic palm more often. it'll do you good:)

yeah I DO use the gambler's cop, I dont do the card to pocket thing unless im doing ACR and so after I do the finale and act like the trick is over i turn the deck over, cop it and just pull it out of my pocket and its a weird thing where it doesn't top the finale, but it just kinda helps the mood resolve after the trick is over. It kinda helps the spectator "quit" thinking "how could he have done it" and just bombards them so they stop thinking about it.

I just suck at classic palm, I suck at palming things period, which is why I dont work with coins or spongeballs.

But im not a pro-magician and have never worked a gig, so your opinion is worth much more than mine.

Practice the classic palm. It's an ingenuis move in magic. I promise you'll love it.

I can do it perfectly well, sean. Now go to bed.

And I didnt say that I don't like it or said that you shouldnt use it. Just saying that the classic palm is under rated and people dont like it because youmight get caught with it. Well, then you're doing it worng and should practice it more. Both of those palms are great, I just wanted to point out that the classic palm is so good when done correctly!
