THE video

Hello everyone!
I would like to make a video.(I am very good in video editing.)
I have sony vegas 7.0 and 8 pro.
How can I make a very powerful video with good effects and how can I make the best quality video (My camera: sanyo xatic (640x480))
So please help me If you can!

Sorry to say this but you're not very good at video editing when you need help in the very basics.


The first thing you should do is open the video file you want to work on.

Now hold down the ALT button and press ENTER. A box should appear infront of you. Next thing is, you want to find a button that looks like a folder. Click it and select the file you uploaded. Moreover, go down to where it says blending mode or whatever.. there should b an option hidden in one of the settings under there. Select the progressive thing or however its spelled..


Now you can start editing.. And adding effects and make it look stylish and whatnot is not something we can tell you. it's all about creativity and of course some knowledge.. if you need any help, please add me on MSN or skype so we can IM to each other:)

as for the basics, make sure you have enough light, its always easier to make your video darker afterwards than brighter. and although its great what sony vegas can do and how fancy the effects are, dont overdo it. its better to have less outstanding effects, otherwise it would look stupid, its quality over quantity. and as hoax said, in the end what you create depends on what you wanna visualize and your own creativity, imho it doesnt make much sense to list up vegas greatest features.. anyways, good luck

I started video editing about half year ago.
but If you say to make aliens :) I make it.
But I haven't got any imagination for the video...
