OMG sry I figured it out :D

he is just coverin the hole with his fingers....the balloon is so big there is a massive overlap on the back side ut there is still a hole where his fingers are

i perform it like thta all the time cause noone i have shown it to actually beleives it is in the balloon and always wants to see the other side

so when u turn it over, u cover the hole with ur fingers and it will look like it really is inside the balloon
