Anyone suggest good tricks that involve double backers or double faces?

Card to wallet with the DB.

Basically any cleanup for a DL if you don't want to use the KM Move.

There are a couple of niche packet tricks for the DF, but I only really use mine for Waltz.

depends how many u got....there is a nice trick on the richard sanders show dvd

u spread a deck face up and show there is a face down card and u have someone selected.....basically they just name any of the face up cards

u flip the deck over and spread thru till u get to the reversed card and written on its face is the name of the freely selected card the spectator named

its a very nice trick but u need a lot of double facers

the other trick i know is cheek to cheek....again it uses a lot of cards, but this time double backers

when u spread the deck face up u show that the deck is in a mess with cards face up shuffled into cards that are face down

u have a face up card selected and returned but u flip it over

now when u spread the deck face down the only card left face up is the selection.....its basically a very clean version of triumph

the first trick is nothin like an invisible deck

basically u have the double facers on the bottom of the deck....what ever is on one side of the double facer u write they would chose that card on the other side
do that on 25 cards

then place a double backer about 12 cards form the top

spread the cards face down to show they are all regular on the back...dont spread too far

then u spread them face up and have one called out....take it out of the deck briefly to show as a confirmation that they want that card then just reinsert it....but try and get it close to where the double backer is

now u bring attention back to the double backer obviously refering to it as a reversed card

spread the cards face down and there will b a face up card near the top and it will have written on it the card the spectator choose.....obviously the double backer will never be seen so everythin looks as it should do

even from the description i first made i dont know how u would come to the conclusion that its like an invisible deck, especially when i said it uses double facers and 1 double backer...prob should learn to read a bit more carefully and not jump to conclusions tryin to look like u know everythin

with a DB i enjoy using them for productions of hershey's kisses, or a dollar bill. cuz it comes around as a big surprise.

as for DF i just love anniversary waltz. yet that could only be done with a couple for best reactions. :]

its very simple. i kind of explained it in the above post but i will try and explain in a little more detail

u will need around 25 double facers and a single double back card

now u need to write a prediction on one side of the double facer......for example if u have a double facer that is a queen of hearts on one side and a 9 clubs on the other. write on the 9 clubs side "you will pick the queen of hearts"....but u want to write it only in the bottom corner that has the 9C pip

leave the queen of hearts side clean

do that with every double facer...writing on one side predictin that the spectator will pick the card that is on the opposite side of the double facer

palce all of these together with the predicitons facin up...now take 26 regular cards and place them face down on top...

then take a double backer and insert it in the top quarter of the deck

and u are all set up

to perform

flip the deck over so it is face up and spread nice and wide so that all of the cards can be seen....comment that u have a card reversed that acts as a prediction card

now close the spread and tell the spec u want them to just name any card that they see and u spread the cards only showin the double facers

they name any of the 25 cards they see and u pull it out to comfirm their selection then square up the rest

u then need to insert it so that is comes close to where the double backer is in the top quarter of the deck

u then flip the deck face down and ask them if they remember the reversed card

u spread thru till u come to the face up card.....really the double facer....now if u spread tightly they will see that it is not the correct card they selected....usually its not even close.

it kind of gets the spec feelin as tho u may have messed up a little bit.....makin them think that maybe that card is ment to match their selection

u ask them if that was the card they selected...obviously they say no...u then tell them not to worry it is just a prediciton and then u pull it all the way out and let them read the actual card they selected is written on it

obviously the double backer can be the same color on both sides but it does look particularly good if u use a double backer that is differnt on each side
