The first vid looks very stooged to me, don't know why.
They cut scenes to the audience's reactions, and it does look fake. If they really wanted to see if there was anything under the 'levitator' they would role under his legs or wave their arms under his legs.
By the way, does anyone think the first vid music sounds like Mr Bean music xD?

The second one, could be various things, I read one of the youtube comments, and it could be right, 'fishing line' you can get some really strong fishing line these days, and that may explain why the video is so hazey.

But, yea, there are lots of methods that COULD of been used.

yeh you gotta admit it does and i watched the first one a second time and when he descend he goes down then stop briefly and then goes some more then stops
