it doesn't spill because there actually isn't any liquid in the glass.
It's a gimmicked glass, the wals of the glass are hollow so the liquid is actually inside the walls of the glas which gives the illusion of it being full.:)

I used to have one like this but it was a mug.

If you look where he puts his finger in the glass (the video posted on learnmagictricks.org) you can see just above the level of "coke" the bottom of a cylinder which he puts his finger in, it's just visible enough right above the level of coke =]
