This trick is performed exactly how it looks. You load a bit of string between your bottom eyelid and your eye well ahead of time (hurts like crazy, btw), and when the time comes you grab the end of it and start pulling. Also, you have to roll the string up carefully so that it unravels slowly rather than pulling out all at once.

Invest in eyedrops.

Also another piece of advice, don't stick tic-tacs in your eye, I had to go to hospital when one went round the back of my eye and dissolved. Very painful!

When you do this trick make sure you soak the string in warm water first. It will soften it up and make it hurt less. If you notice Wayne's performance his eye is not too red, then compare it to Criss Angels performance when his eye is red as ****. You WILL need to practice rolling up the string so it comes out SLOWLY and not in one big clump.

Are you sure that the thread is beetween the eye and eyelid. I heard from my friend that on the bottom eyelid is sticked fake skin. Anybody has original explanation to that trick?

everything you said is possible...buit you don't actually swallow the thread you just keep it in your mouth.
