who do you guys perform for? n advice...

Ok just wondering, who do you guys perform for. I usually perform for my group of friends daily and some family members. Sometimes i get the courage and perform to strangers but thats it. Can anyone tell me who they perform to and if i'm not magician-like becuz i just perform mostly to friends??

also can anyone give me advice on performing on total strangers??

I do everything exactly as you said. I also preform for relatives at almost every family gathering. Until I can perfect all my routines (not a single person can guess it) will I then go out and do it on the streets or as a career.

That happened to me when I was preforming for my friends up at our old elementry school (everyone hangs out there). A group of older guys (in their 18-19s) were playing basketball and I was showing my friends a few tricks. So in the midst of doing tricks for my friends these guys decided to stroll around the school and they saw me doing magic and they heard my friend saying"[that trick is "Inappropriate word" awesome". So they walked over and trying to act hard asked us what we were doing. My friend said that I was doing magic and I was awesome at it. So the group started saying "show me a trick, show me a trick".

Anyways, I was pressured into doing a trick and I noticed my hands were shaking when doing a trick Richard Sanders made (an ace switching trick). My hands were shaking and I messed up the break and one of the secret moves and they caught on. So some of them shouted out that and I got messed up. I did regain myself by doing the "this and that" card trick but I felt pretty crappy after messing a trick up, its just this feeling that I hate.

Find some tricks that involve the spectator doing it all. Like Sick Aces. This way the cards aren't in your hand and you can let them shake as much as you want.

That is why you ask them. Ask them if they want to see something cool. They will either say ok, or just keep on walking.
