walk on water

i'm going to try to do the walking on water illusion on the pond at my school. i don't want to use a plexiglass sheet and the water is pretty murky, any suggestions?

what i've thought of that may work

mirrored hydralic stilts.

pro:not much setting up the pond :no glass:D

con: money...money....i can't build it myself.:mad:

not sure if this will work, but what about putting some floats on the bottom of your shoes?

How deep is the pond and how heavy are you. Are you over 100 or below, over 150, over 200? You can PM me if you want. I've been wanting to pull off this effect for so long and I would really like to try and help you. I always thought it would be so amazing to just walk across the lake in the midst of having fun at my friends house.

these old guys along time ago used these circular wooden things with a symbol in the middle to walk on water. If you do a little research, maybe you can find it.

i think the ninjas did something with round boards . but that's not something i'm increadibly interested in. im not a ninja...persay.;)

Well I'm going away for a week or so but I would really like to help. I slept on the thought of walking on water. It lead me to a dream where my friends little sister got decapitated, how are you gonna live with that on your consience?

Anyways. I've thought of a few ideas to start with but I need help building on them. I'm going camping and going to be next to the ocean and a lake. So I may be able to try a few things.

One more question, how "long" is the pond at its longest point. Also in my quest of research to find out how to walk on water I found this site.. It allows you to walk on water, just probably not in the way you thought :P

well the stiltss idea is pretty good considering that you cant see through the water but how are you gonna get them on without yyour friends noticing and how are you going to walk on the water without lifting your feet?
and if you do lift your feetthey will see stilts on the bottom of your shoes!
and when you finally get out you would have to figure out a way to get them off!
so those are some things youneed to watch out for if your gonna use stilts!

thx. how i'm gonna get them on is the big thing, but i have plexiglass tubesthat i was gonna attach to the stilts and the bottom of my feet so when i pick up my feet you can't see anything attached to them.:)
