If you're talking about the rap one, it's not David Engel's. Like 43587340534 people had it before him.

go to ZRmagic and buy some of my tricks in about 4 days

theyre cheap, easy, and pull great reactions.

id say pull of street card tricks.
like indecent, stigmata, thhe card trick where you throw your cards in the air and catch theirs.
and...
passes.

and that sucks 40mins in front gate?!.
and you have a gate?!.....its one or two things its gehto,or its rich.
....cuz in the states theres no gate in schools o.o;

If you want a great effect

you should perform

Paperclipped by jay sankey

Its a bit hard.

But its one of my favorite tricks I perform

You should get it

Magic Dragon

its not rich its just the side gate where everybody gets droped out of not gehto cuz it looks nothing like the american school in south america i went to for a year
but anyways thx for the tricks i have done stigmata on my family there weren't really impressed with it tho and sinful indecent is pretty good but when i do magic theres crowds around me thx tho i will try that one

Shows how original the world is these days huh?
Anywho...
I LOVE doing magic at school, mainly because its a wonderful ice breaker at the worst moments, schools full of drama.
I'd stay away from massive tricks, like levitations and such.
Focus more on tricks that DONT involve people to 'pick a card'.
For instance, stigmata could be killer if you wrote THEIR NAME in blood.
( Gave a trick away there, sorry ).
Also, bring a few loops to school, they come in handy.

Skill isn't needed if the magician himself is skillfull to his on mind ;).
Also, yes the price of Loops are a rip off, but give SA a few weeks to stock, were going to ask Yigel if we can hyper sell them ( aka. sell them at a crazy low price. )

1:
of course magicians take magic seriously.. they spent their whole life perfecting the art... and its their income.

2:
perform ungimmicked tricks.. or tricks that end clean, coin bite is good if you can switch coins or raven gimmick etc. Biddle trick ALWAYS works.

3:
who do you perform to..?

Magic Dragon
08-07-2007, 04:36 PM
mainly kids around to 1-5 but then 10 ppl come when i start doing stuff freaky like rising card out of the deck full view i also do sum to teachers i get really good reactions from teachers i want a trick where the kids we be freaked out cuz its funny watching reactions for the card levitaitons but i can't keep doing that cuz then the same kids will watch me over and over again

I know what you mean. Yesterday i brough a loop to school and moved a pen for some of my friends. The next day i didn't bring a loop and everyone asked me to move something. It's sooooo anoying!

"The tricks which I've found get the best reaction at school are:

Indecent

Invisible deck

Cosmos (variation of Out of This World)

Pen through bill

Messing around with coins (not just one thing like "revolution", I mean really invent your own routine. This can be a killer)

Coin bend (I can't remember whether I made this version up; borrow a coin, switch it with a pre-bent coin which you give them to hold and concentrate on. Then ask them to slowly open their hand. If you live in england, it's good to know that around 70% of 10 pences you'll come across are made in 1992, so you're bent one should be, and then you can make a point of the date)

And a decent Ambitious Card (Oz Pearlmans one taught in "born to perform card magic" with a few variations is one of the best and easiest)

Plus, get yourself a good magic book, I would recommend:

Mark Wilson, Complete Course in Magic (this is more than just your Ellusionist DVD)
and
Jean Hugard, The Royal Road to Card Magic"

yeah.
but its completely easy to perorm that.
the only way you can do that is talk to your spectator.
and get them all hyped up.
