your favorite trick

i'm trying to get better tricks. i hate card tricks, i'm good at them and it's fun but i'm getting board with them. i would like to know your favorite non card trick. preferably not a coin thru bottle or sinful. a method would be nice too. i love coin magic and would like to know several methods for cut and restored rope, i know the one were you cut the end off and tie a knot , any others? all feed back is greatly appreciated:D
