I am almost positive that is Paul Harris' version. Masuda's utilizes the same principle yet it is different. Find out more about the gimmick first.

u ditch the deck leaving only the gimmick card with a flap the bends in so it appears as though u can push it in the deck

a topit is a universal gimmick that makes you able to ditch items that are a large. For instance, a deck of cards, a sandwich :) , a wallet... and so on.

to be honest i kinda had an idea how it was done before watchin the video, it is a kinda of idea with the flap that looks like the side of the deck. its good how he has mad ethat flap into a double flap to make it look like u can also push the card into the centre of the deck. my initial thoughts to make ur own would be just take another card and either draw faint pencil marks accross it or even score it lightly with a knife to make it look like a deck of cards and attach that flap to the underside of another playing card

tried it but it looks kinda unrealistic..

Maybe so, but if the deck is fanned out first, one gets the subconscious image that there is a full deck in your hand.

ya i guess from a distance (2-3 steps away) it might work.

dude thats all the real gimmick is, a piece of thick card with lines printed on it to look like a deck of cards. nightfalls right as long as u get them to beleive u have a full deck to begin with by spreading them out the they shouldnt suspect other wise
