Best Magic Tricks For School!

I wanna see what the best tricks are for school and which ones get the best reaction. So only post the one you think are the best. For me the simple two card monte gets great reactions. They don't know what hit them.:D

ACR, tricks with money....and thumbtip magic...I had a thumbtip in my pencil case one day and I decided to show my friend the ol' classic silk vanish, his exact response: "DO IT AGAIN O_O!!" I repeated it almost 20 TIMES and his still did not notice the thumbtip...ah I was cracking up that day:p

Stigmata and Saw. Saw's good because at school you probably have a gluestick or you can bring rubber cement.

i wouldn't do the silk vanish with the thumbtip almost everyone knows that trick cuz of that movie night at the muesuem or whatever.
anyways i do renegade forcing a card and then acting like a was reading thier mind card levitations and stigmata

i like to do stuff with invisible thread. i attach it to my pencil. one day in the beginning of class, i levitated my pencil and one kid was REALLY freeked out. i also think stigmata would be good. school hasen't started for me yet, but i will probably do it once it does.

Top Three Tricks So Far Are...
1. Stigmata (Wide variety of reactions.)
2. Saw (Freaks ppl out! and is sort of impromtu because you have glue sticks at school.)
3. Thumb Tip ( Great for pretty much everything.)

the easiest stuff to do is not props mostly coin vanishes haralda hold,devils coin vanish false transfers at lunch this stuff is great in class pen spinning is really fun people are just like wtf?

also if u know how to spin a card into the air people seem to think that is the koolest thing

alot of people get surprised when i do the one trick when one coin is in ur right hand, you slap your hands down then its in your left hand. Card tricks are very effective too but school started for me. Since im moving i dont have to go to school :D (moving to california) and in ca school starts on... labor day i think? well once it does ill make some new friends and start doin tricks :)

I don't think tricks like saw are good for school, people just think you're wierd lol.
And although disjointed is easy and fun, everyone just thinks you're double-jointed.

The tricks which I've found get the best reaction are:

Indecent

Invisible deck

Cosmos (variation of Out of This World)

Pen through bill

Messing around with coins (not just one thing like "revolution", I mean really invent your own routine. This can be a killer)

Coin bend (I can't remember whether I made this version up; borrow a coin, switch it with a pre-bent coin which you give them to hold and concentrate on. Then ask them to slowly open their hand. If you live in england, it's good to know that around 70% of 10 pences you'll come across are made in 1992, so you're bent one should be, and then you can make a point of the date)

And a decent Ambitious Card (Oz Pearlmans one taught in "born to perform card magic" with a few variations is one of the best and easiest)

Plus, get yourself a good magic book, I would recommend:

Mark Wilson, Complete Course in Magic (this is more than just your Ellusionist DVD)
and
Jean Hugard, The Royal Road to Card Magic

mind reading is amazing. always use mentalism. don't do cold,muscle reading yatayata and mental forcing but do things like book tests and stuff i did a impromptu book test to a group of people at my college and they were in shock. but not to impressed since they do know a study the mind and related topics but it will most likely work for you.

my school magic routine: the biddle trick, stigmata, wave the aces, ambitious card, pen thru hand (with rubber cement),thumb tip tricks (sign the paper, then vanish it, and then let them select any of your pockets. and paper will be there),LOOPS.. these tricks get best reactions :D
