I've always wanted to do magic at school, but none of the kids really payed attention to the trick that I was doing. So does anyone have a real attention getter? It would be nice if you guys could help me develop a routine!
Thanks, Dylan.

this is what you need so you going to be ready when i post the tutorial
this is not the real way of doing this trick but it work
find
invisible tread 2 cards 1 jumbo if you prefer
the 4 of diamonds an a indiferent card
a diamond like the four cut a diamond from another card
that if what you need.
if you want the original trick just go to a magic store ask fo the trick and just buy it

I know those tricks, I like the moving pips, but I don't have jumbo's, and I suck at stigmata. I am no good at presentation!

Personally, I'm not really a fan of Stigmata, as I've found it doesn't impress the more Intelectual audience members.
The tricks which I've found get the best reaction are:
Indecent
Invisible deck
Cosmos (variation of Out of This World)
Pen through bill
Messing around with coins (not just one thing like "revolution", I mean really invent your own routine. This can be a killer)
Coin bend (I can't remember whether I made this version up; borrow a coin, switch it with a pre-bent coin which you give them to hold and concentrate on. Then ask them to slowly open their hand. If you live in england, it's good to know that around 70% of 10 pences you'll come across are made in 1992, so you're bent one should be, and then you can make a point of the date)
And a decent Ambitious Card (Oz Pearlmans one taught in "born to perform card magic" with a few variations is one of the best and easiest)
Plus, get yourself a good magic book, I would recommend:
Mark Wilson, Complete Course in Magic (this is more than just your Ellusionist DVD)
and
Jean Hugard, The Royal Road to Card Magic
